After more than a decade at NBC and CBS covering politics and major stories, I stepped away to raise my kids.
From the outside, I saw how broken the industry had become—corporate-owned newsrooms chasing ratings instead of truth, failing to hold power to account, and treating the news like a game.
I knew I couldn’t go back. So I created The Fifth: independent media built on clarity, honesty, and respect for your time.
